Bayern Munich have reportedly reached a full agreement with Liverpool over a deal for Luis Diaz.
The 28-year-old's future has been the subject of much speculation of late, with Barcelona, at one stage, pushing to bring him to Camp Nou, but the Catalan outfit ultimately switched their attention to Manchester United's Marcus Rashford.
Bayern have been in talks with Liverpool over a move for Diaz, and according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, a full agreement has now been reached over a deal for the Colombia international.
Romano claims that Bayern will pay €75m (£65.5m) for Diaz, who is set to pen a four-year contract at Allianz Arena.
Diaz will allegedly now head to Germany to undergo a medical, with an announcement expected next week.
Bayern 'reach full agreement' over deal for Liverpool's Diaz
Diaz made the move to Liverpool from Porto in January 2022, and he has represented the Reds on 148 occasions in all competitions, scoring 41 goals and registering 23 assists in the process.
The attacker was an important player for Arne Slot's side during the 2024-25 campaign, scoring 17 goals and registering eight assists in 50 appearances in all competitions.
Diaz scored 13 times in 36 Premier League games last season, in addition to contributing seven assists, while he scored three times and registered one assist in nine Champions League appearances.
Darwin Nunez is also in talks over a move away from Liverpool this summer, which would open the door for the Reds to bring Newcastle United's Alexander Isak to Anfield during the current window.
Liverpool are 'leading the race' for Newcastle's Isak
Isak has allegedly informed Newcastle that he wants to leave during this summer's transfer window, and there is significant interest from Al-Hilal in the Sweden international.
Al-Hilal are said to be willing to pay the striker a tax-free salary of £600,000 a week, in addition to offering a £120m transfer fee, but Liverpool are regarded as the favourites for his signature.
Liverpool have already spent in excess of £250m on new players this summer, including Florian Wirtz and Hugo Ekitike, while Jarrel Quansah and Trent Alexander-Arnold are among those to have moved on.
For Liverpool to realistically sign Isak this summer, both Diaz and Nunez would have to leave, and there will be plenty of takers for the latter despite his difficulties at Anfield.
