Leeds delay talks with trio of players?

Leeds United will hold off contract talks with a trio of star players until the end of the season, according to a report.

The Whites are on course for a Premier League return following a 15-year absence as they currently lead the Championship table.

With Leeds unsure what division they will be playing in next season, The Sun suggests that contract negotiations with Kemar Roofe, Kalvin Phillips and Jack Clarke have been pushed back.

All three players are said to be after a pay rise, but they will have to wait another five months before United get back to them.

In-demand winger Clarke, under contract until 2021, has been linked with Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United in recent days.

Phillips is also tied down to Leeds until 2021, while Roofe's deal expires a year earlier.
