Neil Warnock: 'We deserved the win'

Warnock: 'We deserved the win'

Leeds United boss Neil Warnock has insisted that his side deserved all three points after their 1-0 win over Bristol City.

Ross McCormack scored the only goal of the game to deliver the win for Warnock's men.

The former Queens Park Rangers manager said that he was pleased with his side's sixth home win in a row.

"We asked them to enjoy it in the second half, and I thought we deserved it in the end," said the 64-year-old.

"I thought we were nervous at the start and the crowd were a little apprehensive. Today was always going to be tough because they had a new manager. All we could do was try and get the points, which we did.

"This league is hard and you have to scrap. That's six wins in a row at home. That's something to be pleased with."

Leeds currently sit in 11th place in the Championship table.
