Leeds United and Ipswich Town have played out a goalless first half in their Championship clash.

David McGoldrick came closest for Ipswich when he had an effort cleared off the line by Jason Pearce.

Ryan Tunnicliffe was denied by Paddy Kenny as the visitors pressed for the opening goal.

Rodolph Austin then forced Dean Gerken into a good save, before the rebound was headed over.

Ross McCormack missed Leeds's best chance of the half towards the end when he headed wide from close range.
