Fulham, Southampton to go ahead

Fulham have confirmed that their Boxing Day encounter with Southampton will go ahead despite strike action on the London Underground.

West Ham United's visit to Arsenal on the same day has been postponed due to walkouts by staff in a dispute over pay.

"Fulham FC is pleased to confirm that its Boxing Day fixture against Southampton will be going ahead as scheduled," said the Cottagers on their official website.

The West London club are in Premier League action on Saturday when they face Liverpool at Anfield.
