Osman agrees one-year Everton extension

Everton have announced that Leon Osman has agreed a new one-year contract extension at Goodison Park.

The 33-year-old, who had a testimonial match against Porto in August, made his senior debut at the Merseyside club back in 2000.

The midfielder, who joined the club as a youth player back in 1997, is now contracted to the Toffees until 2016.

Osman has made almost 400 appearances for the club and scored 54 goals.
