David Moyes denies Jack Rodwell interest

Everton manager David Moyes has revealed that Chelsea have not contacted the club regarding the transfer of midfielder Jack Rodwell.

Press reports this morning had suggested that Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas was preparing to lodge a £20m offer for the 20-year-old.

However, Moyes has confirmed that no discussions between the clubs have taken place.

"I have had no offers, no contact from Chelsea. There would not be any other words I could add to that," the Scot told reporters.

"There is nothing from me. We've had no phone call."

Rodwell is currently injured with a hamstring complaint.
