Everton, Wolves target left "mentally broken"

Everton and Wolverhampton Wanderers target Bjorn Bergmann Sigurdarson has revealed that he is being forced to stay at Lillestrom.

The 21-year-old, who has hit seven goals in 11 games so far this season, has been linked with a move to the Premier League, but the Norwegian club are reportedly unwilling to do business.

Sigursdarson said that he had been left "mentally broken" after a meeting with the club's chiefs, where he had been told that he was staying.

"I just had a meeting with the board [and they are] forcing me to stay," talkSPORT quotes the Icelandic international as saying. "[I'm] mentally broken [and] want to leave."

The striker made his debut for his country this year.
