Wolves close in on Sigurdarson

Stale Solbakken is reportedly close to making his first signing as manager of Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The new boss, who was hired in May of this year, is believed to be tracking Lillestrom striker Bjorn Bergmann Sigurdarson.

When asked by the Express and Star about the 21-year-old, club chief executive Jez Moxy replied: "We are interested in the player."

Sigurdarson, 21, scored 17 goals during his debut season for his Norwegian employers.
