Ronald Koeman: 'Yannick Bolasie will be in squad for West Bromwich Albion game'

Everton manager Ronald Koeman reveals that summer signings Yannick Bolasie and Ashley Williams could both be in line for their debuts against West Bromwich Albion.

Everton manager Ronald Koeman has revealed that new signing Yannick Bolasie will be in the squad for this weekend's Premier League meeting with West Bromwich Albion.

The winger completed his switch from Crystal Palace in a deal worth around £25m earlier this week having only been used as a substitute during the Eagles' opening-day defeat to the Baggies.

Bolasie will go straight into the squad to face the same opposition this weekend, while fellow new arrival Ashley Williams could also feature following his extended break after Euro 2016.

"Yannick will be part of the squad. Whether he starts or is on the bench, we will decide. Yannick is fast, strong, gives the team energy. He is one of the best wingers in the league," Koeman told reporters.

"Ashley is close to being part of the team. Maybe he will be in the squad for Saturday."

Striker Romelu Lukaku is also in contention to play, but Seamus Coleman is out until after the international break.
