Ross Barkley is ready to ignore reported interest from Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea and sign a new long-term contract with Everton, according to BBC Sport.
The 17-year-old has made a positive impression since breaking into the Toffees starting lineup this season, leading many to suggest that his future would ultimately be away from Goodison Park.
However, the attacking midfielder is said to be happy at Everton and the club expect him to pen a new five-year deal when he turns 18 in December.
Barkley made his England under-21 debut in September during the 4-1 win over Israel.
