Preview: Everton vs. FC Krasnodar

Everton vs. FC Krasnodar

Thursday night's Europa League Group H match at Goodison Park is a dead rubber as Premier League side Everton welcome Russian outfit FC Krasnodar.

Roberto Martinez's Toffees have already sewn up top spot in the group, while Krasnodar have no chance of progressing to the knockout stages.

Plenty of changes and youngsters are expected to be present as Martinez gives his regulars a rest.

Visitors Krasnodar can climb up to third place if they avoid defeat and the score between Lille and Wolfsburg in the group's other game goes in their favour.

If the Russian side are to have a good chance of rising off the bottom they will have to end Everton's unbeaten record in this year's competition and halt their goalscoring at home - the Toffees beat both Wolfsburg (4-1) and Lille (3-0) by three-goal margins at Goodison.

The reverse fixture a couple of months ago ended in a 1-1 draw thanks to Samuel Eto'o's 82nd-minute equaliser.
