England will travel to Moldova for their first 2014 World Cup qualification match next September.

England will begin their qualification campaign for the 2014 World Cup away to Moldova on Friday September 12, 2012.

Four days later the Three Lions will host Ukraine at Wembley, while they end the group stage with matches against Montenegro and Poland.

News of the fixtures comes on the day that England rose to fifth in the FIFA world rankings following recent victories over Spain and Sweden.
