England Under-21s begin their Euro 2013 qualifying campaign with a 6-0 win over Azerbaijan at Vicarage Road.

England's Under-21s got their Euro 2013 qualifying campaign off to a winning start with a 6-0 victory over Azerbaijan at Vicarage Road.

West Ham's Henri Lansbury and debutant Craig Dawson both bagged braces, with captain Jordan Henderson and Martin Waghorn scoring the others.

Lansbury, who signed a season-long loan deal at Upton Park from Arsenal on Tuesday, provided the corner for Dawson to head in his first before volleying home to make it two.

Liverpool's Jordan Henderson scored the third with a curled effort from outside the area on the stroke of half-time.

Lansbury scored his second six minutes before Hull City striker Martyn Waghorn powered in the fifth.

West Brom's Dawson headed in for his second late on to complete the rout.

The Under-21s next qualifier is on October 6 away at Iceland.
