Euro 2024 qualifying permutations: Who can secure their place on Monday?

The last round of Euro 2024 qualifiers continues on Monday, with one final chance for those teams still in the mix to book a direct passage to the tournament in Germany next summer.

The lineup for the draw has already been largely completed with a game to spare for most teams, but there are four automatic qualification spots still up for grabs over the coming days.

Three of those will be filled on Monday, with a trio of winner-takes-all showdowns in Groups C, E and H in store this evening.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up exactly what each team needs to qualify, as well as the current state of play in all of the groups to feature.


GROUP C

MONDAY'S FIXTURES

North Macedonia vs. England (7.45pm) Ukraine vs. Italy (7.45pm)

PERMUTATIONS

  • England have already qualified.
  • Italy only need to avoid defeat against Ukraine to book their place at Euro 2024.
  • Ukraine need to beat Italy to leapfrog them into second place at the last hurdle.
  • Whichever team misses out on second place in Group C - either Italy or Ukraine - will end up in the playoffs.

  • GROUP E

    MONDAY'S FIXTURES

    Albania vs. Faroe Islands (7.45pm) Czech Republic vs. Moldova (7.45pm)

    PERMUTATIONS

  • Albania have already qualified.
  • Czech Republic will book their place at Euro 2024 if they avoid defeat to Moldova.
  • Moldova will pip Czech Republic to second place with a win in that match.
  • Poland have been confirmed in the playoffs.

  • GROUP H

    MONDAY'S FIXTURES

    Northern Ireland vs. Denmark (7.45pm) San Marino vs. Finland (7.45pm) Slovenia vs. Kazakhstan (7.45pm)

    PERMUTATIONS

  • Denmark have already qualified for Euro 2024.
  • Slovenia will join them at next summer's tournament if they avoid defeat against Kazakhstan.
  • Kazakhstan will qualify for a major tournament for the first time in their history with a win in that match. If they fail to win, they will go into the playoffs.
  • Finland will also go into the playoffs.
