Team News: Wayne Rooney makes 100th England appearance against Slovenia

England captain Wayne Rooney will make his 100th Three Lions appearance in this evening's Euro 2016 qualifier against Slovenia at Wembley.

The Manchester United man becomes the youngest ever Englishman to reach the landmark and starts in the number-10 role for Roy Hodgson's side as they look to continue their 100% start to qualifying in Group E.

At right-back, Nathaniel Clyne is preferred to Calum Chambers and makes his first international start as one of three changes to the side that edged out Estonia last month in England's most recent game.

Kieran Gibbs fills in for the injured Leighton Baines at left-back, while Raheem Sterling is back in the starting lineup after sitting out with tiredness in Tallinn.
