Jurgen Klopp confirms Jordan Henderson on course to be fit for Euro 2016

Klopp gives England boost over Henderson

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Jordan Henderson is on course to return to fitness in time for England's campaign at Euro 2016.

The midfielder has been out of action with a knee injury since April 7 when he suffered the problem during the Reds' 1-1 draw with Borussia Dortmund in the Europa League in Germany.

The 25-year-old was ruled out of the rest of the domestic season, but there is still hope that he will be fit to be named in Roy Hodgson's Three Lions squad for the European Championships in France.

In today's press conference, Klopp said: "Jordan is in a good way for England, not sure about for Liverpool."

Meanwhile, Emre Can has returned to the squad after recovering from ankle ligament damage.
