Manchester United's Phil Jones in line to make England senior debut

Jones in contention for England debut

Manchester United defender Phil Jones could make his England debut against Montenegro on Friday.

The 19-year-old, who moved to Old Trafford from Blackburn Rovers this summer, is being considered by Three Lions boss Fabio Capello to start the Euro 2012 qualifier alongside John Terry, according to BBC Sport.

The centre-back was included in the England squad that played Bulgaria and Wales last month but failed to feature for the national side.

Meanwhile, Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard could return to the starting lineup while Everton's Phil Jagielka is in line to start at right-back.
