Derby County winger Jamie Ward 'targeted' by several Championship clubs

Derby County's Jamie Ward has reportedly been targeted by several Championship clubs this summer.

The winger, 28, was due to be out of contract this month, but Derby took up the option to extend his deal by a further year.

Even so, interest is believed to be high in the Northern Ireland international, who started 34 league games and scored seven goals last season.

According to Sky Sports News, several of Derby's Championship rivals are lining up a bid for his services ahead of the new season.
