Crystal Palace could be without up to four players for Thursday’s Conference League clash with Strasbourg at Stade de la Meinau.
Cheick Doucoure (knee) and Caleb Kporha (back) remain sidelined with long-term injuries, but Chadi Riad (knee) and Rio Cardines (groin) have an outside chance of featuring in the matchday squad and will both be assessed ahead of kickoff.
Head coach Oliver Glasner will consider rotating his starting lineup in a few positions following last weekend’s 2-0 Premier League win at Wolves, with defenders Marc Guehi and Chris Richards among those who could drop down to the substitutes’ bench.
Guehi and Richards may have their minutes managed in the next couple of games, as both players have recently recovered from injury. The latter, who was taken off in the closing stages at Wolves with cramp, could be replaced on Thursday by teenager Jaydee Canvot, a summer signing from Toulouse.
Jefferson Lerma and Nathaniel Clyne may also be considered for a start in defence, but Frenchman Maxence Lacroix is expected to continue at the heart of a three-man backline, protecting goalkeeper Dean Henderson.
Daniel Munoz - who scored the opener against Wolves - is set to retain his spot at right wing-back, while Tyrick Mitchell likely to get the nod on the opposite flank ahead of Borna Sosa.
Both Lerma and Will Hughes will be considered for a start in midfield, but Glasner may decide to stick with Adam Wharton and Daichi Kamada, while Yeremy Pino - who also scored against Wolves - and Ismaila Sarr are set to provide support in attack for central striker Jean-Philippe Mateta.
Crystal Palace possible starting lineup: Henderson; Canvot, Lacroix, Guehi; Munoz, Hughes, Wharton, Mitchell; Sarr, Pino; Mateta
