Villarreal have targeted Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku as a potential loan signing.
The Spanish side could make a move for the 18-year-old in the January transfer window, according to The Mirror.
Lukaku has been given limited first-team opportunities since his £18m switch from Anderlecht over the summer.
Villarreal are currently short of frontmen following injuries sustained by Giuseppe Rossi and Nilmar.
