Romelu Lukaku: 'Joining Chelsea was my dream'

New Chelsea signing Romelu Lukaku has described his transfer to Stamford Bridge as "a dream come true".

The 18-year-old striker finalised his switch from Anderlecht earlier today and has revealed that he cannot wait to meet his new teammates.

"It's a dream come true," the Belgian international told the club's official website.

"I dreamed to play here since I was 10 years old, thinking about shaking hands with all those players like John Terry and Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba, it's amazing to arrive here in a big club with big ambition.

"It was just what I was searching for," he added.

Lukaku has reportedly cost the Blues £18m.
