Ashley Cole could miss out on England friendly due to injury

Chelsea full-back Ashley Cole is a doubt for England's friendly against Sweden next week due to a hamstring injury.

The 31-year-old has been left out of the Blues' Champions League squad for their clash against Shakhtar Donetsk at Stamford Bridge tonight.

The West London outfit are likely to enlist the services of Ryan Bertrand and England boss Roy Hodgson could do the same when he names his squad tomorrow at midday, according to The Express.

Cole will make his 100th cap for the Three Lions when he next lines up for his country.
