Xabi Alonso has made 11 changes to his Chelsea XI for Sunday's pre-season friendly against Johor Darul Ta'zim.
However, Mykhaylo Mudryk has again only been selected on the substitutes' bench as the Ukrainian star is eased back into action.
Alonso has opted to stick with a similar formation from Saturday's 3-0 victory over AC Milan, albeit a 3-4-2-1 tactic seemingly becoming a 3-4-1-2.
Nicolas Jackson is rewarded for his lively substitute outing versus the Serie A giants with a start in attack, presumably in tandem with Liam Delap.
Dario Essugo is surprisingly named as captain, with the Portuguese partnering 16-year-old Mahdi Nicoll-Jazuli in central midfield.
Penders misses out for Chelsea vs. Johor Darul Ta-zim
Geovany Quenda is another starter, seemingly as a right wing-back, after playing for over 30 minutes as a substitute on Saturday.
Mamadou Sarr, Tosin Adarabioyo and Aaron Anselmino make up the back three, with Olutayo Subuloye having to make do with a spot among the replacements.
Goalkeeper Mike Penders had been expected to start. However, the Belgian is absent from the squad, leaving Teddy Sharman-Lowe to feature between the sticks.
