Olivier Giroud will lead the Chelsea line in Wednesday night's Champions League last-16 second leg against Barcelona.

Olivier Giroud has been picked to lead the Chelsea line in Wednesday night's Champions League last-16 second leg against Barcelona.

Blues boss Antonio Conte started the first leg at Stamford Bridge - which finished 1-1 - with a false nine, but January arrival Giroud has been chosen to start in the centre-forward position tonight, leaving Alvaro Morata on the bench.

German defender Antonio Rudiger also returns from injury to start for the visitors, while Pedro is only on the bench on his return to Camp Nou.

As for Barcelona, Andres Iniesta has shaken off a hamstring problem to start, while Lionel Messi returns to the team following a short time off due to the birth of his third child.

Ousmane Dembele is also handed a start in a wide area as Paulinho drops to the bench.

Barcelona: Ter Stegen; Roberto, Umtiti, Pique, Alba; Rakitic, Busquets, Iniesta; Dembele, Suarez, Messi

Chelsea: Courtois; Azpilicueta, Christensen, Rudiger; Moses, Kante, Fabregas, Alonso; Hazard, Giroud, Willian
