Neil Lennon wary of Celtic title talk

Celtic manager Neil Lennon refuses to believe that his team winning the Scottish Premiership is a "foregone conclusion" ahead of their trip to Partick Thistle.

Celtic manager Neil Lennon has refused to describe his team winning the Scottish Premiership as a "foregone conclusion" ahead of their trip to Partick Thistle tonight.

The Hoops will clinch a third successive league title if they beat Partick at Firhill.

However, Lennon has warned his players not to expect an easy match against the strugglers.

"They have their own self-pride and pride in their club. And they have an agenda - to avoid second-bottom place," he is quoted as saying by BBC Sport.

"They're fighting for their lives so it's not a foregone conclusion that the title will be wrapped up this week."

Celtic have won their last three matches in the Scottish Premiership.
