Sean Dyche remains confident of Burnley survival

Burnley boss Sean Dyche is adamant that his side can avoid relegation from the Premier League because of the unwavering character of his players this season.

Burnley boss Sean Dyche is upbeat over his side's survival chances in the Premier League following a good spell of performances.

The Clarets are just two points adrift of safety to 17th-placed Hull City, despite winning just once in their last 11 matches.

However, Dyche feels that his side have shown the spirit and determination to remain in the division and is hopeful that they can transfer that into positive results.

He told the club's official website: "Our strong mentality has stayed firm all throughout the season and I'm really pleased with that. The will and desire to improve has been there all along and we've got some big results.

"Now we've got six big and important games for different many different reasons to make sense of it all and deliver performances. My belief is absolute in this team and what it can do this season. I feel it can be in the Premier League again.

"I did after the first whistle, I did after game ten when everyone said we've got even less than no chance and I still do now. We've done a lot of work to be where we are after been written off so heavily and we're certainly in the pack."

Burnley face Everton in their match at Goodison Park on Saturday.
