Brighton boss Gus Poyet admits that he is "happy" for his players as they beat Huddersfield Town 2-1 on Saturday.

Brighton & Hove Albion manager Gus Poyet has claimed that he is "happy" for his players following their 2-1 victory over Huddersfield Town on Saturday.

Will Buckley netted twice for the Seagulls at the John Smith's Stadium as they moved up into the Championship playoff places.

"We are a good team and difficult to play against," said Poyet. "I am happy for the players.

"We have had to battle and some of our players are not used to that type of football. It's a learning curve."

Brighton continue their Championship campaign next Saturday when they welcome Bolton Wanderers to the Amex Stadium.
