Wednesday's Coupe de France predictions including Briochin vs. PSG

Brest vs. Dunkerque (Wednesday, 6.00pm)

A place in the semi-finals of the 2024-25 Coupe de France is up for grabs when Brest and Dunkerque lock horns at Stade Francis-Le Ble on Wednesday evening.

Off the back of victories over two top-flight sides en route to the last eight, the visitors now go in search of another huge scalp at the expense of their hosts, who will be keen to avoid an upset on home turf.

We say: Brest 3-1 Dunkerque

Dunkerque have punched above their weight a couple of times in this season's Coupe de France, but we expect Wednesday's clash to be their final act with the home side claiming a routine win at the end of the 90 minutes.

Stade Briochin vs. PSG (Wednesday, 8.10pm)

Fourth-tier side Stade Briochin will look to extend their dream Coupe de France run when they take on Paris Saint-Germain in the quarter-finals on Wednesday.

The underdogs have impressed on their home turf at the Stade Fred-Aubert, but they now face their most formidable challenge against the reigning champions.

We say: Stade Briochin 0-3 Paris Saint-Germain

Anything short of a dominant PSG victory will be a shock here, but Briochin have eliminated two Ligue 1 sides from the competition already, so they will not feel hopeless.

The visitors, who are expected to rotate, should still have too much quality for a side that are three divisions away from the highest level.
