Brentford's Clayton Donaldson ready for Wolverhampton Wanderers test

Brentford striker Clayton Donaldson believes that it is too early to call this weekend's match with Wolverhampton Wanderers a promotion decider.

Brentford striker Clayton Donaldson has claimed that it is too early to call Saturday's match against Wolverhampton Wanderers a promotion decider.

The League One leaders welcome third-placed Wolves to Griffin Park with just two points separating the sides.

"There are still a lot of games to play so I do not think the game will decide who goes up. The fact we are both in the top three makes it tasty but there are still other teams fighting to go up. We are in a good position and a positive result would stand us in good stead," Donaldson told the London Evening Standard.

"Two teams high on confidence is the ingredients for a good game. Wolves have some good players and they are on our tails so it will be a tough game."

Brentford extended their unbeaten run to 19 matches last weekend when they beat Crewe Alexandra 3-1.
