Half-Time Report: Late Gabriele Angella strike gives Watford the lead

Watford left it late to take the lead at half time against Bournemouth in the Championship.

Gabriele Angella scored a close-range header moments before the whistle to give the Hornets the advantage.

Earlier, Diego Fabbrini blazed over from the edge of the box for the visitors after Daniel Pudil had seen a shot blocked.

Watford were on top for much of the half and Cristian Battocchio went close when Troy Deeney played his teammate in just after the half-hour mark.

Marc Pugh had arguably Bournemouth's best chance when he blasted wide in a good position on 36 minutes.
