Saturday's Bundesliga predictions including Borussia Dortmund vs. Mainz

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Saturday's Bundesliga fixtures, including Borussia Dortmund vs. Mainz 05.

Dortmund vs. Mainz 05 (Saturday, 2.30pm)

Borussia Dortmund will be looking to continue where they left off before the international break when they host Mainz 05 at Signal Iduna Park on Saturday.

The hosts battled to two narrow victories in the absence of vital players prior to the break, whereas the visitors have hit a small blip after an initial bright start to the Bundesliga campaign.

We say: Borussia Dortmund 2-0 Mainz 05

The visitors are likely to remain tough to break down on Saturday, but the quality of Dortmund, on home soil in particular, should see the hosts come through in the end.

If Haaland and co can return to form immediately, then the scoreline could well be a wider margin, but it should be a comfortable victory for BVB.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Frankfurt vs. Hertha Berlin (Saturday, 2.30pm)

Separated by just two points and one place in the Bundesliga table as it stands, Eintracht Frankfurt and Hertha Berlin go head to head at the Commerzbank Arena on Saturday looking to climb out of the bottom half.

The hosts will be looking to build on their stunning first league win of the campaign last time out before the international break, whilst the visitors will be looking to bounce back from disappointing back-to-back defeats.

We say: Eintracht Frankfurt 2-1 Hertha Berlin

We think the hosts will be in high spirits after their incredible victory before the break, and as a result we believe they will record back-to-back victories with another here against their struggling visitors.

If they are to climb the table in search for a European spot again this season, then these are the matches that Frankfurt will want to be winning, and they should have enough quality and goals in them to see off a leaky Hertha side.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Union Berlin vs. Wolfsburg (Saturday, 2.30pm)

Two of the Bundesliga's European hopefuls go head to head on Saturday, when Union Berlin host Wolfsburg at the An der Alten Forsterei.

The hosts will look to continue their incredible unbeaten run at home and overtake their opponents this weekend, whilst the visitors will be looking to bounce back after a dip in form prior to the international break.

We say: Union Berlin 1-1 Wolfsburg

With two stubborn defences on show on Saturday, it is hard to see many goals arriving in this game, particularly with very little to choose between the sides.

Because of that, we are predicting a tight 1-1 draw, although Union could quite easily grind out a narrow victory on their dominant home patch.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Freiburg vs. RB Leipzig (Saturday, 2.30pm)

Freiburg play their first competitive match in their new stadium on Saturday, when they host RB Leipzig in Bundesliga action at the Europa-Park Stadion.

The hosts remain the only unbeaten side left in the German top flight heading into this fixture, whilst the visitors will look to build on their back-to-back league victories prior to the break to continue their revival after a poor start to the new campaign.

We say: Freiburg 2-1 RB Leipzig

We believe that the hosts will continue their fantastic start to the campaign against Leipzig on Saturday, with the buzz of the new stadium and the noisy atmosphere likely to play a part.

Freiburg will ensure they remain difficult to break down once more and we see them earning a narrow victory to inflict more away day misery on the visitors.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Greuther Furth vs. VfL Bochum (Saturday, 2.30pm)

The Bundesliga's two bottom sides meet as Greuther Furth take on VfL Bochum at the Sportpark Ronhof | Thomas Sommer on Saturday afternoon.

The hosts find themselves at the foot of the table, having taken just one point from their first seven games, with their upcoming opponents three points but just one place above them.

We say: Greuther Furth 2-1 VfL Bochum

This will likely be a tight match with both sides knowing how much is on the line in what is already a relegation six-pointer. We are backing Greuther to edge it, though, and earn their first ever Bundesliga win.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Borussia M'bach vs. Stuttgart (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Borussia Monchengladbach welcome Stuttgart to Borussia-Park on Saturday evening for the eighth game of this developing Bundesliga season.

The two sides currently sit in mid-table with the hosts doing slightly better, two points and two positions above their upcoming opponents.

We say: Borussia Monchengladbach 3-1 Stuttgart

Overall, the hosts come into the match in the better form and with fewer injury worries. We expect them to make home advantage count and wrap up a comfortable win in what should be an entertaining game.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.
