Thomas Tuchel: 'Borussia Dortmund are outsiders in Bundesliga title race'

Borussia Dortmund manager Thomas Tuchel says that his side are still 'outsiders' in the Bundesliga title race as they prepare to face Bayer Leverkusen.

Borussia Dortmund boss Thomas Tuchel has claimed that his side are still 'outsiders' in the Bundesliga title race.

Dortmund are level on points with Bayern Munich but they lead the Bundesliga on goal difference after collecting maximum points from their opening four matches.

Tuchel's side face Bayer Leverkusen on Sunday, and he says that they must treat the match as any other.

"It does not matter whether we see Leverkusen as our strongest opponent so far. We have to give our all if we are to get a good result," Tuchel is quoted as saying by FourFourTwo.

"Regardless of the table, we're still an outsider. We mustn't lose our heads now, but keep our focus.

"We have to stay hungry and try to keep this up."

Dortmund face Leverkusen at 4.30pm on Sunday.
