Juanfran "very happy" at Real Betis

Juanfran has revealed that he is enjoying his time with Real Betis after joining from Real Madrid this summer.

The 24-year-old, who spent four years in Madrid's Castilla team, has impressed in the early stages of his career with the Europa League outfit.

"I'm very happy. The second I came here I felt comfortable. I'm playing for a team that's in the Europa League and I think I'm doing pretty well," Juanfran told reporters at a press conference.

"We have to remain calm [despite a poor start to the season] because the dynamics of the squad are good. Before the international break we got one point from nine – after it we've gathered four from six. Hopefully this week that can be turned into seven from nine."

Juanfran made just one first-team appearance during his time in the Spanish capital.
