Massimo Luongo: 'I could have options after World Cup'

Swindon Town midfielder believes that he could have options to leave the club after representing Australia at the World Cup finals.

Swindon Town midfielder Massimo Luongo has admitted that he is unsure whether he will remain at the club after the World Cup.

Luongo is part of Australia's squad for the tournament in Brazil, and while the former Tottenham Hotspur trainee is only expected to play a fringe role, he has insisted that his inclusion might see him receive offers to leave the League One side in the summer.

The 21-year-old told BBC Wiltshire: "I don't know if I will play much, if at all, but it can't hurt to get my name out there.

"I don't know if it's the right decision to leave Swindon or if I want to, because I enjoy being at the club, but we'll have to see. There might by options after the World Cup."

Luongo, who scored six times in 53 appearances last season, has made just one appearance for his country ahead of their opening World Cup game with Chile on Friday evening.
