Team News: Ron Vlaar absent for Aston Villa

Aston Villa will be without their captain Ron Vlaar for tonight's home encounter with Reading.

The Dutch defender is suffering with a muscular complaint and as a result Ashley Westwood has dropped back to fill the void.

There is no place in the squad for England striker Darren Bent though.

Meanwhile, veteran frontman Jason Roberts will continue in attack for visiting Reading.
