Leonardo Jardim calls for maturity from Monaco

Leonardo Jardim believes that a mature approach will be key for Monaco when they host Juventus on Wednesday night.

Monaco head coach Leonardo Jardim has claimed that playing with maturity will be key in the Champions League quarter-final second leg against Juventus.

Jardim's side welcome Juventus to the Stade Louis II trailing the Italian champions 1-0 from the first leg, but the Monaco boss is confident of success if his side manage to stick to a sensible approach.

"It will be difficult, as is normal for a game at this level," he told reporters. "The Champions League is totally different to Ligue 1.

"We mustn't lose our heads, as Juventus are extremely experienced and if we are not mature about it, then we could run into a lot of problems.

"It's down to certain players to make the difference tomorrow on the field. Motivation is also fundamental and the full stadium will push us on to give more."

Injuries could keep Geoffrey Kondogbia and Jeremy Toulalan out of the Monaco side.
