Arsenal are seemingly ready to rival Bayern Munich in the race to sign Hammarby youngster Emil Roback.

Arsenal are allegedly looking to secure a deal for Hammarby youngster Emil Roback.

Throughout this season, a number of Gunners academy graduates have established themselves within the first-team setup, including Bukayo Saka and Joe Willock.

According to Hammarby sports director Jesper Jansson, Arsenal are looking to add to their youth ranks by securing a deal for 16-year-old striker Roback, who is also said to be a target for Bayern Munich.

Speaking to Fotboll Direkt, Jansson said: "We were contacted and know about the interest [from Bayern]. He has also met Arsenal. There's a strong interest and there are more clubs as well. He's also been to Arsenal. Yes, I understand the interest.

"He is a forward with a great physique and speed and already a skilled goalscorer."

Roback has already represented Sweden at Under-17 level.
