Granit Xhaka has said that he is "proud" to be joining Arsenal after signing a long-term deal at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners announced on Wednesday that they had signed Xhaka from Borussia Monchengladbach for an undisclosed fee, and the Swiss international has admitted that he is delighted to have secured a switch to the North London outfit.
The 23-year-old told the club's official website: "I'm very proud to be joining Arsenal. I cannot wait to move to London, represent this special club and play in the Premier League.
"I will give everything to help Arsenal win trophies and make the fans happy."
The midfielder has made 41 appearances for Switzerland and is due to represent his country at Euro 2016.
