Patrick Vieira has said that he expects Arsenal to struggle to keep Robin van Persie this summer.
Vieira, who spent nine seasons at Arsenal, admits that the London club must convince the Dutch interntational that he can win trophies at the Emirates Stadium or else risk losing him.
"It's going to be difficult for Arsenal," he told The Mirror.
"Robin wants to win trophies – and Arsenal have to prove he can do it with them.
"Of course, it is going to be difficult to keep him or convince him, but I don't know what is the plan for them."
The Frenchman recently admitted that Manchester City are interested in the player.
