Members of Arsenal's squad are reportedly unhappy with Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez over their reluctance to take part in media duties and club events.

Members of the Arsenal squad are reportedly growing frustrated with Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez due to their reluctance to take part in media duties and other planned events.

Both players are in the final year of their contracts at the Emirates Stadium and, with no agreement on the horizon, the Gunners could lose their star duo on free transfers next summer.

Neither of them are regulars during post-match interviews, and The Mirror reports that a growing contingent of Arsenal's team are unhappy with their attitude.

Ozil and Sanchez were both absent during a contractual corporate sponsorship event at the club's training group the day after Arsenal's EFL Cup win over Doncaster Rovers last month, despite the vast majority of the rest of the squad turning up - including the injured Danny Welbeck.

Arsenal claimed that both players were ill and so unable to attend the event, although Sanchez had played the full match against Doncaster the previous day, while both were involved against West Bromwich Albion less than a week later.

Ozil has been linked with a January move to Manchester United or Inter Milan today, while Arsenal are reportedly considering a swap deal with Paris Saint-Germain for Sanchez.
