Arsenal consider Boxing Day postponement

Arsenal will decide within the next 48 hours whether or not to postpone their Boxing Day fixture against Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Emirates Stadium.

Doubts regarding the match have risen following news that tube strikes have been planned for December 26.

Trade union Aslef has announced industrial action that could shut down the London underground system for the entire day.

A club spokesman told BBC Sport: "Arsenal are considering postponement to 27 December as one of the options."

Chelsea's London derby with Fulham on the same day is also in doubt.
