AC Milan's vice-president Adriano Galliani reveals that the club will make a decision on coach Massimiliano Allegri's future later this week.

AC Milan's vice-president Adriano Galliani has revealed that the club will make a decision on coach Massimiliano Allegri's future later this week.

The Milan boss's future has been the subject of speculation for the majority of the season, with the rumours intensifying after the club could only muster a third-place finish in Serie A.

However, Galliani has said that the situation will be resolved on Thursday.

"[Club president Silvio Berlusconi] is currently in Sardinia, but he should arrive [back to Milan] on Thursday evening," Berlusconi told Milan Channel.

"I spoke to the president [and] we'll get together to find the best possible solution for Milan."

Milan looked likely to miss out on Champions League football until two goals in the last six minutes gave them a 2-1 win over Siena on the final day of the season on May 19.

A Mario Balotelli penalty cancelled out Claudio Terzi's opener before Philippe Mexes grabbed the winner three minutes from time.
