Result: Adam Scott wins PGA Grand Slam of Golf

Adam Scott beats Justin Rose by two shots to win the PGA Grand Slam of Golf in Bermuda.

Masters champion Adam Scott has shot a course-record 64 to win the PGA Grand Slam of Golf event at Port Royal Golf Course, Bermuda.

The Australian trailed first-round leader Justin Rose, who won the US Open in June, by four shots at the end of the front nine, but fought back to win the 36-hole event by two shots.

It was a bogey at 16 for Rose followed by an eagle at 17 for Scott that swung the contest, with his round bettering the previous record of 65 set by Lucas Glover in 2009.

"Obviously, I'm thrilled to come out on top," Scott said in his interview afterwards. "Fun, but a trying couple of days here, really, especially today.

"Standing on the 11th tee, didn't look like a score like that was going to be possible, but I played very well and managed to slowly claw away at Justin."

Jason Dufner (-3) and Padraig Harrington (+3), who was defending the title he won when stepping in for Ernie Els last year, finished third and fourth respectively.
