Reed takes up running at Wyndham Championship

PGA Tour rookie Patrick Reed has shot a six-under 64 to take the lead after the second round of the Wyndham Championship in North Carolina.

The 23-year-old is 11-under-par after 36 holes at Sedgefield Country Club, but the story of day two belonged to John Huh.

The American sank eight birdies in a flawless round of 62, which sees him sitting second on 10-under-par.

John Deere Classic champion Jordan Spieth is third on nine-under, while overnight leader Ross Fisher is not four shots off the pace on seven-under.

Sergio Garcia could only shoot an even-par 70 meaning he stays on five-under.

Further down the pile, Martin Kaymer carded 68 to finish on two-under and sneak just inside the one-under cut line.

However, Brandt Snedeker (+1), Paul Casey (+5) and Padraig Harrington (+7) will not be featuring over the weekend.
