Wycombe Wanderers extend Alfie Mawson loan

Brentford defender Alfie Mawson has extended his loan stay at Wycombe Wanderers.

The 20-year-old, who initially joined the Chairboys last month, will now remain at the club until January 1.

"Alfie has been outstanding for us, particularly for someone so young who had only played a handful of senior games before he came here," Wycombe manager Gareth Ainsworth is quoted as saying by BBC Sport.

Mawson has made six appearances for the League Two outfit so far this season.
