Braintree Town take Wycombe Wanderers goalkeeper on loan

Braintree Town have moved to secure the loan signing of Wycombe Wanderers goalkeeper Alex Lynch.

Last season, Lynch found himself between the sticks as Wycombe challenged for promotion to League One, with the 20-year-old starting the playoff final against Southend United.

However, Lynch has featured just once this campaign, and that has seen manager Gareth Ainsworth allow his player to join National League outfit Braintree.

Lynch had been in line to make his debut on Saturday afternoon, but Braintree's clash with Kidderminster Harriers has been postponed because of a waterlogged pitch.
