At a time when the home side sit in 22nd position in the table, Mansfield are 10th and are currently one of the form teams in the division.

While Mike Dodds would have been hoping for a promotion charge with Wycombe, he is already facing the prospect of being sacked if there is not a change in fortunes.

A quick turnaround after their trip to Merseyside may have contributed to the draw with Lincoln City, but a full week's rest means that they will be rejuvenated for this contest as they bid to cement themselves in the top 10.

With Daniel Udoh having left for Salford, Wycombe will need to make a change in attack, with Cauley Woodrow potentially being handed his first start having joined on deadline day.

Sam Bell is another major addition from Bristol City and could replace Taylor Allen in the final third or Daniel Harvie at left wing-back.

Mansfield have a double selection blow with Jordan Bowery and Jamie McDonnell both away on international duty.

Baily Cargill should return at centre-back, but George Maris may have to drop into a deeper midfield role with Regan Hendry unlikely to deputise for McDonnell due to injury.
