Wolverhampton Wanderers considering bid for PSG midfielder Idrissa Gueye?

Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly identified Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Idrissa Gueye as a potential transfer target.

Since leaving Everton for Parc des Princes last summer, Gueye has made a total of 29 appearances in all competitions.

However, according to Le 10 Sport, PSG are open to cashing in on a player who cost £27m just 13 months ago.

The report claims that Wolves are monitoring the situation as they contemplate whether to make significant alterations to their first-team squad.

While Nuno Espirito Santo tends to rotate between Ruben Neves, Leander Dendoncker and Joao Moutinho in midfield, the latter turns 34 years old in September.

Gueye is unlikely to leave the French treble-winners until the end of their Champions League campaign.
