Wilson completes permanent Wolves move

Wolverhampton Wanderers have completed the permanent signing of Donovan Wilson from Bristol Rovers.

The 17-year-old originally signed on at Molineux on loan back in November.

However, following a handful of appearances for the club's Under-21 side, Wilson has now agreed to become a full-time member of the Championship club's academy.

"I'm happy to be at the club and it's going to be a great experience for me," Wilson told the club's official website.

"I've been at Rovers since I was seven or eight and really enjoyed it, but when an opportunity like this comes along you have to take it and I am ready to do my best.

"When I came here and looked around and saw the facilities and met the coaches it was a very easy decision to take."

Despite making the bench on numerous occasions, Wilson never made a senior appearance for Rovers.
